With this compound kit we installed on a 2018 we were pretty happy with how it turned out, while we ran into a couple obstacles the end job turned out nicely. Being able to retain the stock turbo keeps the stock engine brake intact as well (which a lot of customers like as well). We have also swapped 2G (2nd gen.) style turbos on these 4th gen trucks as well. So far from personal experience the 2G swaps make slightly more power while the compound set up gets slightly better mileage. Both set ups have their respective positives.
